At Madison Manchester, we want you to feel confident when placing an order with us. If an item doesn’t meet your expectations, we aim to provide a clear and fair return process.


1. Our 30-Day Return Policy

Under UK consumer law, customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days.
At Madison Manchester, we go a step further by offering 30 days from the date of delivery to return your order.

Whether the fit wasn’t quite right or you simply changed your mind, we’re happy to help.


2. Product Information & Expectations

We do our best to present our products as accurately as possible. Below you’ll find important information about sizing, materials and product representation.


2.1 Size Guide (Sizing & Fit)

At Madison Manchester, we believe proper fit is important. Each product on our website includes its own specific size guide, based on the measurements of the item.

Because fit can vary depending on the design, fabric and style, we strongly recommend checking the size chart carefully before placing an order.

Selecting the correct size based on the provided measurements is the customer’s responsibility. Madison Manchester cannot be held responsible for incorrect size selection if the size chart was not consulted.

Please note that small variations of 1–3 cm may occur due to manual measurement or manufacturing tolerances. These differences are considered normal within the apparel industry.


Measurement Verification

If you believe the item you received does not match the size chart, our support team may request clear photos showing the garment being measured with a measuring tape.

If the measurements differ significantly from the published size chart, we will of course provide an appropriate solution.

If the measurements match the size chart, the product will be considered correctly delivered and the standard return policy will apply.


2.2 Product Images & Colour Display

We strive to display products as accurately as possible.

However, colours may appear slightly different depending on:

  • screen settings

  • lighting conditions

  • photography

  • device display

Minor colour variations are considered normal and do not constitute a product defect.


2.3 Fabric & Material Experience

We aim to describe materials and product features as clearly as possible.

However, the personal perception of fabric feel, softness or thickness may vary between individuals. Differences in subjective expectations are not considered product defects.


2.4 Product Variations

Products may be produced in different manufacturing batches. Because of this, small variations may occur between items of the same style.

Examples include:

  • slight stitching differences

  • small variations in buttons or zippers

  • minor colour tone differences

  • small finishing variations

These are considered normal in the fashion industry.


2.5 Visual Product Representation

Product images are intended to provide a realistic representation of the item.

Photos may include styling elements or accessories to demonstrate how the product can be worn. Accessories are only included if explicitly stated in the product description.


2.6 Fit & Styling Expectations

Products are often shown on models to illustrate style and fit.

Actual fit may vary depending on:

  • body shape

  • height

  • proportions

  • personal styling

Model photos should therefore be considered visual guidance only.


3. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused and unwashed

  • The item must be in original condition

  • All tags must still be attached

  • The original packaging must be included

  • Proof of purchase must be provided


4. How to Request a Return

Important Conditions

  • Returns must always be approved before being sent

  • Returns must be shipped using Track & Trace

  • Please keep your shipping receipt

Madison Manchester is not responsible for returns lost in transit.


5. Return Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Return costs may vary depending on the country and carrier.

Returns must be sent to our international fulfilment warehouse.

No administrative fees are charged.


Return Inspection

All returned items are inspected upon arrival before a refund is processed.

During inspection we check:

  • item condition

  • whether the item has been worn or washed

  • presence of original tags

  • whether the returned item matches the original order


Non-Compliant Returns

If a returned item:

  • shows signs of wear

  • has been washed

  • is damaged

  • contains odours (perfume, smoke, deodorant)

  • has missing tags

the return may be rejected.

In such cases Madison Manchester may:

  • refuse the refund

  • return the item to the customer

  • charge additional shipping costs for resending


Fraud Prevention

To protect against misuse, Madison Manchester reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet our return conditions.

If fraudulent behaviour is suspected, such as returning worn items or different products, the return request may be rejected.


6. Refunds

Refunds apply only to approved returns.

Once your return has been received and inspected:

  • you will receive an email confirmation

  • refunds will be processed within 10 working days

  • refunds are issued via the original payment method


Processing Time

Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.


7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

  • your order number

  • clear photos of the product

  • photos of the packaging

If confirmed, we will send a replacement item free of charge.

Monetary refunds are not provided in these cases, as the issue will be resolved through replacement.


8. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene or practical reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • lingerie

  • swimwear

  • hygiene products

  • cosmetics

  • earrings

  • personalised or custom-made products
